Steve Levin and Vadim Nikitine are the founding owners of CCM Real Estate, which they started in 2009. Steve is responsible for directing and managing the investment, joint venture and asset management activities of the company. Steve has resided in DC and invested in the Mid-Atlantic region for the past 32 years, and he has more than 35 years of broad-based commercial real estate and legal experience, ranging from acquisitions and assemblages for first-class office buildings and mixed-use developments, to arranging and negotiating joint venture transactions and financings with domestic and foreign investors, as well as structuring and implementing sophisticated workouts.
Prior to joining CCM US, Steve was a principal in two prominent Washington, DC real estate investment and development firms (involving over $1.5 billion and 3 million square feet) and, most recently, a Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, negotiating and closing of investment and development activities for the Mid-Atlantic. He began his legal career at Proskauer Rose in New York City, specializing in commercial real estate and sale/leaseback transactions.
Steve is admitted to practice law in New York State and the District of Columbia, is a former Trustee of the McLean School, past President of The Real Estate Group, Washington, DC and currently volunteers his time for The Field School and Wesleyan University. Steve earned his JD (summa cum laude) from New York Law School, where he was Topics Editor, Law Review, and his BA (cum laude) from Wesleyan, where he was captain of the soccer team.
