Tyler Shymansky is Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management of CCM Real Estate. His responsibilities include evaluation of new deals, execution of due diligence and closing, oversight of refinancing and dispositions, and management of operating properties. Additionally, Tyler works closely with CCM Puerto Rico on transaction-related activity and oversees portfolio management.
Prior to joining CCM Real Estate, Tyler worked for Washington Real Estate Investment Trust where he was directly involved in over $1 billion of transactions across a variety of property types.
Tyler received his B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and his M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he was a board member for the Georgetown Real Estate Society. Tyler currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development at University of Maryland where he teaches Argus Software and Microsoft Excel. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and DC Real Estate Group.
